ALEX
For MVLA School Board
Providing every student with every opportunity
Meet Alex Levich
Dedicated to Our Students and Community
I’m a mom to two students in Mountain View-Los Altos public schools - one at Oak Elementary and one at Blach Junior High, long-time resident, and a strong advocate for quality education. With a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Math and an MBA from UC Berkeley, I’ve built products and teams at leading tech companies while running my own small business. These experiences have given me strategic vision, decision-making, budget management, and team-building skills.

As a Bowman School Trustee, I helped open a new high school, develop a five-year strategic plan, and improve math education. I also guest lecture at Berkeley Business School, teaching future leaders in innovation and product management. These roles have deepened my understanding of the challenges and opportunities in high schools and the future needs of our students.

I’m committed to using my experience to ensure every student in the MVLA district thrives and has access to every opportunity.
Why am I running?
Driven by Passion, Guided by Experience
I am running for MVLA board to bring the voices of our diverse community and students, and represent you on the board. I am committed to advocating for quality education that presents opportunities and challenges that are appropriate for each learner.
High School is an informative and transformative time for students to grow academically and personally, as they explore interests, develop skills, and find passions. With the competitive landscape of academia, I aspire to ensure academic excellence, closing learning and achievement gaps, while taking care of emotional and mental health.

Building on my combined expertise in business, technology, and education, I will advocate on the MVLA board for academic programs, a safe and inclusive environment, and the resources necessary to help each student thrive.
